SATURDAY

Hey there I started this blog and then never posted again. Sorry about that. I will try to do better.  School is out here,  it has only been a week and the kids are already getting restless. My kids have never been into summer sports of any kind. They spend a lot of their time at the public pool. They also go to Church camp. In fact my son goes to camp with two different Church's. He is almost fifteen and is the one that is almost never gives us any trouble. Either his friends are staying here for a few days or he goes to one of their houses for a few days. Our daughter on the other had is the ORIGINAL TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN.  Everything is an argument, even when she is getting what she wants she seems to be able to bring the drama. But we love her anyway. My wife has been babysitting for one of her cousins. They drop the kids off around six am and pick them up about four.  She has really enjoyed having the kids around.  Gets thats enough for now.

LET'S BEGIN

Hey there my name is Jeff. I live in small town U.S.A. I am married and we have two children. We have been married for almost eighteen years, we have a sixteen year old daughter, and  a fourteen year old son.  We live relatively normal lives.  I am starting this blog just as a way of getting things out of my head, and maybe in doing so figure some of them out. I think that I will just post about the things that happen in our live.

Last night I had a strange dream, the kind of dream that when you wake up you are still upset by what happened in it. I also woke up not feeling well. But I went to work anyway. When I came home I still did not feel well.  My son went on a field trip to Wichita today, they got to go to the mall, and to a movie and out to eat. It was a reward for getting good scores on their standardized testing.  After work I made a batch of oatmeal raisin cookies that my daughter has been asking for. It is amazing how cookies can disappear almost as fast as you can take them out of the oven  (at least around our house).  The kids have both gone to Church and the wife and I are watching AMERICAN IDOL. I guess I should tell you that I am a reality tv junkie.   I really like watching  IDOL, The Amazing Race, and Big Brother. I just can not get enough of them. I guess that is enough for today. If anyone out there has any questions or comments, just ask.  LOVE YA
